Wake County jail visitation is video-based and held at the Wake County Detention Center. Wake County Inmate Mail

Wake County Detention Rules
Wake detention facility policies include several local details. The facilities do not serve coffee to inmates, smoking and tobacco are prohibited, and weights or bodybuilding facilities are not provided. Inmates can exercise inside and outside cells. Meals are served three times each day, approved by a dietitian, and pork is not served to avoid religious conflicts. Medical staff is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sentenced inmates may work in housekeeping or maintenance inside the facilities.
